Young songwriter and singer Maya Van Londen writes her lyrics based on her adventures and dreams, of which she has many. Her mix of the gospel, rhythm and blues, and disco sounds are personal and fun!

It's March 6 and we're still waiting for a phone call from the Audition folks. Maya auditioned at the Oregon Convention Center on Feb 28, 2010.

School Talent Show

During the 2009 Linus Pauling Middle School Talent Show, 13-year old Maya Van Londen sings Breakaway, written by Matthew Gerrard, Bridget Benenate, Avril Ramona Lavigne, and made famous by Kelly Clarkson.

 

Maya records song for Online Radio Show

VivacityNow.com's The Voices of Women Project: An Audio Anthology has purchased the song, "All Women Are Beautiful," written by Suz Doyle and Vickie Hannah Lein of Corvallis. Maya Van Londen sings the lead part for the song, which will become the backdrop music for Vivacity's radio show.

Memorial for Rev. Dr. Isaiah Jone's Jr

When Maya was aged 3 to 5, she sang with Mom in the Inner Strength Gospel Choir, directed by Rev. Dr. Isaiah Jones, Jr. The Reverand passed away in Oct 2008. The local corvallis community gathered to remember him at a service Oct 19, in which Maya sang "My Brother".

School Talent Show 2008
